BIKE AND SKATE SHOP

The Southwest Rides Bike Shop is committed to serving Southwest Detroit and the greater metro region with affordable bicycle and skateboard sales and professional service. We are a social-purpose business subsidiary of Urban Neighborhood Initiatives, a non-profit 501(c)3.

We sell quality used bikes for all ages. If you are looking for a kids bike, adult road bike, hybrid, mountain bike or a city commuter bike, we have it. Our bikes are affordable and fully refurbished.

We also have a full service repair shop and will repair any bike. We offer a full menu of services from minor adjustments to tune ups to full bike overhauls. Our labor rates are affordable and we pride ourselves on offering quality service.

If you are a DIY bike mechanic or looking for new or used parts, we can also help you out. We have plenty of used bike parts and accessories and can order pretty much any new parts or accessories from our distributors.

We look forward to assisting you with all of your bicycle and skateboard related needs. We want to be your local bike and skateboard shop.

DONATE YOUR BIKE

We accept bicycle donations. All the used bikes in our shop come to us as donations, so if you have a much loved old bike collecting dust in your garage, please donate it to Southwest Rides. We receive and process a large number of donations that are distributed and used throughout the organization. Your donation will be recognized with a donation receipt from Urban Neighborhood Initiatives.
